Kivanç Tatlitug: The Tatli Package!

Isn't he indeed a full package of everything? Of so many beautiful things? Of extraordinary, brilliant things? Of admirable, impressive things? Of marvellous, awesome things? Sure he is, and I'm sure that everyone more than agree!

Kivanç Tatlitug is indeed a name that embraces not only a world top beauty title, or confirmed acting talents, but also and most importantly, human values and a deep personal distinction.

Kivanç Tatlitug is certainly a name that resounded throughout the whole world in 2002 thanks to the top model award, a name that is revolutionizing the Arab audience through the "Muhannad" character in the series Gumus, and a name that will for sure still rock the world with the "Halil" character in "Menekse ile Halil" and with other projets of this so distinguished actor.

Above all, Kivanç Tatlitug is a name that covers so much warmth, modesty, depth, sensitivity, maturity, respect, responsiveness, touchiness, and consideration. The recent visit to Jordan is just a concrete proof of this actor's humanitarian aspect, and it leaves enough ground to assert that he is indeed just one of a kind and worthy of all respect.

One, therefore, cannot but be overwhelmed by so much beauty (or "Tatliness") and blown away by such mesmerizing blessings! God bless you Kivanç, and bless your tatli talent and even more tatli inner self!!

Menekşe ile Halil: A Leap into the Sublime!

"Menekşe ile Halil" is just about another masterpiece where Kivanç Tatlitug has the lead role, a responsibility that he fulfilled simply brilliantly.

This should come as no surprise, knowing the qualified potential of this young yet so professional actor. Kivanç has indeed proved once more that he is endowed with talent and that he is inherently capable of artistic accomplishment.

The story is quite original, in the sense that it does not fall into the category of classical love stories. It is about a sweet, tender, beautiful romance which is even very close to transcendental love if we dare say so. The kind of love between the partners is so profound, strong, yet pure and almost spiritual. This might sound a bit unusual in a contemporary world, yet Kivanç's acting skills succeeded in conveying such human and universal feelings so splendidly. His amazing (and so professinal) facial expressions, the intensity of his look, his incredible emotional sensibility, his mastery of different moods, all managed to uplift the viewer and take him to a world of stirring emotions where etrenal love and ever-lasting peace prevail.

The whole story is in fact based on an oscillatory cycle which alternates sadness and joyfulness successively in a melodramatic way. What is stiking throughout the series is again Kivanç' performance, as he manages to switch from romance to anger, or sadness or fight so easily and naturally. His tears would fall and you wouldn't be able to hold back yours. In particular, and besides the sentimenal moments that he played, some scenes are also mind-blowing like when he kept running for a long long distance (when he discovered that his girlfriend got married) or when he fell on his knees, crying so desperately and recalling the little kid that he was and who still misses his beloved mom. Those two scenes, and many more, display a tormented soul, broken and ravaged by the injustices of life, the soul of such a delicate, sensitive, loving, and generous human being.

This magical dimension in Menekşe ile Halil is definitely what makes the series so special. The reincarnation of the hero into an angel in the final scenes is not only touching and profoundly moving, it is highly suggestive as well. Values and feelings come to acquire a wholly new meaning and to be made purer, deeper, and more genuine. In this process, though, distinguished thanks should go to Kivanç in the first place for having grasped the message of the series so finely, and transmitting it to us in such a beautiful, super, and captivating way!!! Chapeau bas, Kivanç Tatlitug!!!

Kivanç Tatlitug: The lastingness beyond the craze

Hi guys,

I hope that you agree with me that it's no exaggeration to assert that Kivanç's popularity is being phenomenal in different parts of the world, and that he has sort of revolutionized our existence thanks to his very unique and amazing presence on the artistic scene.
Just look at the fans' number on his facebook page which keeps increasing by 1000 at least each day, mashallah! And even in the "offline world" people are being crazy about him, and these include all sorts of categories ranging from housewives to working women, from adults to kids, from girls to boys, form romantics to realists, from "simple-minded" to those showing a higher degree of intellect, from soap opera addicts to art critics, and the list is just long...

True he was introduced to most of us through the series Gumus, and true he captivated his audience and managed to hold it spellbound. However, Kivanç Tatlitug is a name that can't be forgotten once the series is finished or this "wave of craziness" if we may call it so is over. In fact, I see Kivanç's lasting effect right in the way he successfully communicated to us intense and profound emotions that we are not likely to forget soon. He also -- I'm sure you agree -- redefined many notions that are closely related to our everyday life, and inspired us in a very positive way, especially when it comes to such essential values as commitment, faithfulness, determination, positive aggression, love, etc. I really think that he did so magnificently well, and for this he does deserve the loyalty and devotion of his fans.
Above all, I see Kivanç's most significant contribution in the way he -- directly or indirectly -- rekindled our interest in the Turkish culture, as we are passionately develpoing a keen interest in finding out more about Turkish music, language and history, which is in my opinion a very beautiful way of bridging cultures and learning to appreciate the other regardless of differences or distinctions.

Well then, thank you very much Kivanç Tatlitug, and be sure that your passage into our lives is not going to be a passing crazy adventure! Far from it, we're going to be nourished by your essence, and for a long lasting time!

Kivanç Tatlitug: Red Carpet, Hollywood!!

Hi all,

I'm sure you all agree with me that Kivanç should be heading straight to Hollywood and start reaching for world stardom in acting. After all, doesn't he have all the talent, glamor, glitz, and beauty to make him one of the best actors in the world??

I have been watching all Gumus episodes these days, and I could hardly "re-emerge" to real life again, so much I was stunned by the unique and amazing performance of Kivanç. It's not only that he is handsome and sexy (Goshhhh even too sexy), but mostly that he acts with such professionalism!! It's really amazing to have someone take your breath away from a simple look, a penetrating, piercing, mind-blowing look... or to have all your body shaken from the deep emotions conveyed by him... The mere fact of seeing him smile, cry, sigh, laugh, shout, sleep, drink, smoke or whisper, is a hell of turnon by itself!! He fuses so amazingly into the character that you keep holding your breath until the scene is over, and yet, you are still under the charm even if he's not there anymore.

It is incredible how he manges to catch one's attention and to make viewers addicted to him. When you watch, you can't afford to miss any single gesture or move that he makes... He is so much photogenic too that you could hardly take your eyes off his lips, eyes, neck, chest, tatoos, and his whole body... He is very graceful as well, and he really has a very special presence...

Well, when someone is endowed with all those skills and enjoys such professional abilities and mind-blowing charisma, the least that could be hoped for is to see him in top positions in the movies world. Someone who is capable of transmitting all those emotions -- from love to sadness or anger, or desire, or pity, or joy, or complicity, or regret, or forgiveness, and who therefore takes you to those different worlds that he creates for you, is certainly a person who deserves a wider scope of possibilities and chances.

Roll out the red carpet, Hollywood; go ahead, Kivanç; it's no exaggeration to say that this is where you should be!!!

Liberalism or Tradition? Which Aspect Attracts You most in Kivanç?

This question is almost inevitable when one sees the extent of popularity that Kivanç reached, and particularly among the Arabic community in the last 2 months or so.

The point here is whether one is attracted to him because he is a "westernized" version of Muslim guys, and therefore, many girls' dream-come-true man, or because he is displays a profound attachment to the values and traditions that are related to his culture.

Personally, I am "in love" with the combination of those two aspects. I really admire his liberal way of being (reflected in his artistic choices, the tatoos on his body, his mode of life, etc) but also his respect to values and deep commitment as a person, a family member, and certainly a friend and a colleague. I find this combination quite rich and unique, and maybe it is even a reflection of the Turkish culture itself which is quite exceptional as well...
